ViClarity Board Members Discuss CU Needs with Ireland Team

ViClarity Board Chairman Murray Williams, Board Manager Diana Dykstra, and Global CEO Miriam De Dios Woodward recently met with senior management stationed out of the company’s Tralee, Ireland office to foster a dialogue on the forward-looking needs of credit unions in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and related technologies.
“The needs of all types of credit unions are evolving, and we need to stay ahead of those needs with our solutions that power GRC for the entire industry,” De Dios Woodward said. “Part of that was hosting an important visit by two of our board managers. They got the opportunity to see and experience the global breadth of ViClarity’s client-centric technology expertise.”
Dykstra is president and CEO of the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues and had just arrived from the World Council of Credit Unions’ (WOCCU) 2022 World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow, Scotland in early July. At the conference, she stepped into the honorable role of WOCCU board chair and received the chain of office in front of more than 1,500 attendees from the main stage, being the second female board chair to lead the worldwide organization.
Williams is president and CEO of the Iowa Credit Union League. Both Williams and Dykstra have a unique perspective when it comes to listening to what local credit unions are looking for as they manage risk and regulatory compliance within their operations.
The two ViClarity board managers not only took a tour of the Ireland office but also met with the company’s technology teams, including project management, product management, technical support, sales, customer success, and accounting/finance. Each team gave an overview of their role in ViClarity and how they support credit unions day-in and day-out. They also met with John “Ogie” Sheehy, global CIO and fellow board manager of ViClarity.
Besides being the award-winning reg-tech solution tailored specifically to help credit unions easily manage risk and regulatory compliance, ViClarity also offers legacy PolicyWorks services, including compliance consulting, audit and review, and PolicyAid.
“As the Leagues’ comprehensive GRC resource, ViClarity continues to be the solution for credit unions when technical challenges or complex situations arise,” De Dios Woodward said. “We look forward to continuing to serve credit unions.”
