The latest Credit Union Awareness update webinar (Aug. 2) for California presented the most recent figures on how this unique digital advertising campaign continues making huge strides when it comes to increasing consumer consideration for credit unions while connecting consumers more directly to participating credit unions.

Year to date in 2022 (in California), more than 177 million advertising impressions have been garnered, as well as nearly 3 million link-clicks and 565,000 video views. You can view the webinar-update recording here (passcode is Z0$8uDa5), or see the presentation slides here.

Those who participated received insights on the program's performance, key research findings, consumer content preferences, and insights on advertising traffic — including advertising spending, online impressions, cost-per-click (CPC), click-through rate (CTR), advertising performance by age, and other important digital marketing, demographic and social media demographic updates. Dozens of credit union marketers and other professionals from California tuned-in for this update from across the state.

They also learned that as California consumers continue visiting YourMoneyFurther.com, participating credit unions can now track and measure consumer traffic, as well as connect directly with consumers interested in joining or borrowing from a participating credit union.

The Credit Union Awareness program is designed to increase consumer consideration and engagement with California and Nevada credit unions via a paid digital advertising campaign and organic financial content delivery — YourMoneyFurther.com. This socially-driven website is the consumer-facing platform featuring valuable information to help consumers gain insights to questions they may have about the credit union difference.

While certain credit unions in both California and Nevada are participating in YourMoneyFurther.com, all credit unions in the entire state benefit from this lift in consumer consideration driven by the digital advertising campaign.

Meanwhile, the campaign has officially launched in Nevada! Financial Horizons CU, Great Basin FCU, Silver State Schools CU and WestStar CU are participating. Since April 1, nearly 20,000 Nevada consumers have visited YourMoneyFurther.com.
