CU Awareness Update and What’s Coming Up

The Credit Union Awareness program continues to gain traction. Designed to increase consumer consideration for credit unions via a paid digital advertising campaign, the national program has garnered more than four billion impressions, according to the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). YourMoneyFurther.com—the consumer-facing site that features information to help consumers gain insights on the credit union difference—had more than six million visits in 2021 alone.
New 'YourMoneyFurther.com' Website
The program continues to evolve with new improvements and additions. In March, YourMoneyFurther.com was launched as a new consumer resource. The new site not only serves as the destination for the program's paid digital ads, but now connects with consumers as part of the organic strategy, delivering quality content about the benefits of joining a credit union. Participating credit unions are elevated and given expanded visibility to engage consumers more directly.
National Program Update
CUNA is hosting for the first time a national program update on Monday, May 2 at 10 a.m. Pacific. This webinar will cover Q1 2022 program performance, share program learnings and insights, and talk more about the transition to the next stage of the program. Following the conclusion of the national update, national and state-level program performance presentations will be emailed to all participating credit unions. Register for the national program update here.
Program Expansion
Three new states recently joined the Credit Union Awareness program: Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida.
